Step Back to 1880: Baseball, Hoosier History, and Casey at the Bat

 

We're excited to invite you to a special ticketed event that brings history and America's pastime together for one unforgettable afternoon!

 

Taking place Saturday, January 17th at 1:00pm at the Stevens Museum.

 

Join us for a delightful presentation by Gib Young that'll feature a lighthearted look at early American baseball, fascinating stories of Hoosier history including Salem's own Bill "Jumbo" Richardson and the Monon, and a live performance of "Casey at the Bat" by Rick Hensley as the legendary "Casey."

 

Whether you're a history lover, a baseball fan, or just looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon, this event is sure to be a hit!
